| TCM Distribution USA History |
In 1965, after building and marketing fork lift trucks in Japan for 16 years, TCM expanded its business into the United States market. In 1976, Mitsui & Co. assumed product distribution responsibilities, and incorporated and located TCM America, Inc. in Bridgeport, New Jersey. TCM had established a solid dealer network to distribute and service its products, and those excellent products built a reputation for quality and reliability that continues to this day.
In 1989, to meet demand in the United States, TCM began producing fork lift trucks in its 165,000 square foot factory in Columbia, South Carolina. 1999 marked the company’s 50th anniversary, and in July of that year, the company celebrated this milestone event by changing its name to TCM Corporation.
In June 2005, TCM reassumed distribution responsibilities from Mitsui & Co. TCM Distribution USA, Inc. was established in Swedesboro, New Jersey to distribute and support our products in the United States. We support sales, marketing, and technical service for the entire line of TCM fork lift truck products through our dealer network.
