Obtaining ISO 14001
TCM America, Inc. strives to produce and distribute the world-class products of TCM while at the same time caring for and improving our environment. To that end we have established an Environmental Management System (EMS). The purpose of our EMS is to identify and manage our environmental impacts. We use a systematic process to continually improve these programs to make us more efficient and a better neighbor.
Our Environmental Policy is:
- Prevent pollution, waste, and resource consumption wherever possible.
- Continually improve our programs to minimize all adverse environmental impacts.
- Conduct activities in compliance with all applicable legislation.
We are a charter member of the Lexington County Green Business program and were recognized by the South Carolina Smart Business Recycling Program. We are scheduled to obtain ISO 14001 certification in February 2012.
